In the words of Billy Mack, Christmas really is all around and I am so excited for the coming weeks. Seriously, it's like I am a little girl again, counting down to this event in my calendar. It may be because it's my first Christmas as a Mrs, or it may be because I'm hosting my family from Brisbane, or it may just be because Christmas is such a wonderful time.
Eating too much, wearing pretty dresses, cheering in Christmas morning with a Christmas eve feast, lounging about and talking about New Years Resolutions, eating cherries and pavlova for breakfast. So many traditions that are etched into my Christmas experience.
St Kilda is also going Christmas mad with various Christmas markets, events and so many tourists. I love my little suburb, especially when summer hits. It's so full of activity and excitement, the beach isn't half bad either.
Last year I was in Germany for half of Christmas day, and Norway for the other half. It was my first winter Christmas and my first Christmas out of Australia. It was wonderful, but I definitely missed This Guy and we vowed that we wouldn't spend a Christmas apart again.
This year we will be celebrating in style with a Christmas Eve feast and Christmas Day picnic, along with various other activities we have lined up over the next month or so. We have visitors coming in from around the country to join in some Christmas celebration with us in our little corner of Melbourne.
To enjoy our Christmas joy with us, tune in on Instagram.
